the process was made simple by her professionalism and genuinely caring attitude. America actually staged our house out of her own pocket to make it look perfect to guarantee we got top dollar for it. Our house looked nice to begin with, but she added some different items that definitely helped the presentation. She told us the house would sell in one weekend and she was right. We did an open house on Saturday and Sunday and had a great offer by Wednesday. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens the buyer fell through and the timing could not have been worse as it happened while we were out of the country. No worries though as America scrambled to get 6 groups of potential buyers through on one days notice. Then the original buyer came back in and we thought we were good until that person flaked AGAIN. As frustrating as that could have been America once again scrambled and got 8 groups through on a days notice. And in that group there was a couple who loved the place and made an offer that was equal to the first offer we got, which happened to be $30,000 over asking. Another thing she did that was huge for us was deal with our dogs while we were working. We have two dogs and she made sure if she was showing the house while we were gone that her assistant would watch the dogs while she showed the house. "I worked with America on both the sale of my old home and the purchase of my new one. Both were unusual circumstances, and America was fantastic in handling them. In the case of my old home, a condo, I had been renting it out
to tenants, which was a sensitive situation. I wanted to put my unit up on the market quickly, and it was going to take nearly a month for the tenants to vacate. Our original plan was to make some small improvements that America recommended, and hold an open house as soon as the tenants were to leave. While we were waiting, America was able to bring in prospective buyers who didn’t mind seeing the unit while it was still occupied. She was very skilled at minimizing the impact on the tenants, while at the same time, helping the prospective buyers visualize what the unit could look like (despite it being filled with the tenant’s belongings). Remarkably, she sold the unit while the tenants were still there, and at our asking price!
On the buying side, we wanted to make an offer on the unit we were renting, but it wasn’t even on the market. America did a great job negotiating with the property owner, and was able to get a price lower than we thought we’d have to pay.
What made America a joy to work with was her dedication to service and her ability to problem-solve. If she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll find it. She also has great vendor recommendations — mortgage brokers, inspectors, etc. She was always available when we needed her, and she was always willing to help us with any aspect of either transaction.

"What an amazing buying experience - 5 weeks to search and buy (to include a one-week vacation in Hawaii while America handled negotiations and paperwork), find a home that's VA-approved, and in Redondo Beach! America Michael (Keller William Beach Cities)
is an absolutely incredible realtor. It really felt like we were going through the home buying process with a friend. To accommodate our work schedule, America finds ways to show available properties early in the morning.
How good is she? In Redondo Beach, there are less than 50 properties out of the tens of thousands in total (both on market and not) that are VA-approved. America pulled the full list of VA-approved condos, combed through the list, and planning to call each building to ask if they had any properties coming up for sale. She found two VA-approved townhomes for us to look at within the first week, finding the one we eventually bought in the second week.
Not only did she find us a VA-approved home, she was able to use her network of realtors and financiers to identify the home before it came on the market and got everything lined up for us so that we could submit our bid. In three weeks, we received the keys to our first home! So thank you America for lining up and supervising all the inspections and taking up quotes for deficiencies.
However, things do not end there. We wanted to paint and take care of the deficiencies our inspectors noted before we moved in. America was able to find a painter, a bathroom and tile guy, an electrician, a plumber, a garage guy, and an HVAC guy. Honestly, without America we probably would still be waiting for all the work to get done, and would have paid a lot more for the same amount of work. "My company assigned me to a long term project in the El Segundo area and by chance we ran across America Michael. After speaking with her about my specific requirements she found multiple properties that met my needs. Her idea
to use both Facetime and video tours really helped me make my final decision on which property to lease. Given that I was 1600 miles away in Houston, Tx at the time with no real ability to fit a trip out just to view properties into my schedule, her use of that technology was indispensable in the final selection of a property that I will be in for over a year.
I was definitely not disappointed in her selection of properties to view either....it was actually a hard decision on which to pick. Once I arrived in California I was even more pleased with the property in person. It fits my needs and the needs of visiting co-workers perfectly.
If anyone from out of the area is looking for a real estate professional of the highest caliber, you would be making a grave mistake in not contacting Ms Michael . She was a pleasure to work with, stayed in constant contact through the entire process and even gave me a tour of the area when I arrived to make sure I knew where things are in the Hermosa Beach area I settled in.

"After learning that my family and I would be moving from Massachusetts to LA for work, I found America Michael through yelp and contacted her to discuss rental opportunities in the Beach Cities. America was very responsive,
understood our situation, and was very generous with her time. She spoke with us at length over the phone to educate us about the area and make recommendations based on our particular situation. She always responded quickly to emails/calls, and set us up on her website to start looking at potential rentals. Once we selected a few of our favorites, she followed-up to get more information and even FaceTime-d with us to show us a property before we got to town. She was able to negotiate the rental price down and get the paperwork completed to secure us a great property. Even after we completed the paperwork, she took us around the area and gave us a personal tour. America was so personable and friendly and really cared that we find a good place for our family.
